The Sidney Cooperative Nursery School has been serving the children of Sidney and the surrounding area for the past 40 years. The Co-op offers a warm and welcoming classroom with longtime, dedicated teachers. The school focuses not only on educating the child, but also helping him/her grow developmentally and socially. As a Co-op, we encourage parents to become involved in their child's education by participating in the classroom or serving on the board. The preschool is also a nationally recognized Step Up to Quality award rated program.

Open House/ Registration

Sunday March 4th 2-4pm

Come tour the school, meet the teachers, and register for the 2013-2013 school year!

Penguin Party!

February's Special Class will be about penguins. Come to school on Monday, February 20th from 9:15-11:30am to learn penguin facts, make a booklet, and do a penguin scooter slide. The class is open to children 3 years and above, and is $15. Download a registration form below.

The Teachers

The three teachers at the Co-op are Jane Ulrich, Tisha Simpson, and Kris Berlekamp.

Jane has an Associates degree from Edison State Community College. She has been an aide at the Co-op for 6 years.

Tisha has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Miami University. She has been the administrator and teacher of the Readiness class for 6 years.

Kris has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton. She has taught at the Co-op for 13 years, serving as the Nursery teacher and co-administrator for the past 7 years.
